CAUSE IV, Crossing Borders

CAUSE IV is set to begin this April, continuing the efforts of previous CAUSE experiments.

Final planning sessions took place this week in Michigan with participants from the US and Canada coming together to organize details related to a joint response to an emergency. In border regions, the closest help may be in another country. the CAUSE experiments seek to improve cross-border response so that all communities can access the resources they need in emergency situations.

The NISC supports the series of CAUSE experiments in various ways. Notably, participants leverage the NISC’s ArcGIS Online Common Library to access and exchange information. Multiple NISC members are also involved in the experiment.
